SJD Hospital in Sierra Leone yesterday received a delegation from the World Bank and the Ministry of Health of Sierra Leone.

According to Brother Michael Koroma, director of the hospital, a delegation of representatives from the World Bank and the Ministry of Health of Sierra Leone visited St. John of God Hospital in Lunsar yesterday, January 18, to learn about the work carried out by the center and the health services it provides to the population of the Port Loko district.

Brother Michael Koroma led the tour, introducing the staff and the center's facilities to how the center is managed. This tour also served as a means of strengthening ties, sharing learning, and leveraging synergies.

The San Juan de Dios Hospital in Lunsar will celebrate its 50th anniversary next March and is currently in a post-Ebola context, due to the epidemic that affected several West African countries from 2014 to 2016.
