We sent 22 tons of humanitarian aid to the three centers in Cuba.

Juan Ciudad NGO has sent a new 40-foot, 22-ton container to the social and health centers of the Hospitaller Order in Cuba, where it cares for the elderly and people with mental illness.

This new container, shipped on April 6, includes hospital supplies such as gauze, diapers, uniforms, sheets, towels, mattress covers, and more, as well as cleaning and hygiene products, clothing and footwear, and non-perishable foods such as rice, oil, and cookies.

Juan Ciudad NGO Humanitarian Aid is centralized in the organization's warehouse located at the San José Institute Foundation in Carabanchel (Madrid), where hospital supplies, medical products, and food, among others, are received for classification and selection, and subsequently loaded into containers that we ship by sea.

The aid sent this time will support the services provided by the following centers in Havana and CamagĂŒey: Sanatorio SJD, Hogar ClĂnica San Rafael, and Hogar Padre Olallo.

From Juan Ciudad NGO we would like to thank the people who made this new shipment possible, such as our donors and PRIM Suministros Médicos (Madrid), SJD Hospital (Zaragoza), Albergue Jesus Abandonado Fund (Murcia), SJD Ciempozuelos Center, San José Institute Fund (Madrid) and Brother Vallejos from Sant Boi de Llobregat, among many other product donors.
