Instant Classroom It is a digital school in a box that can be installed in just a few minutes and operated in areas with limited access to electricity and connectivity. Designed by The Vodafone Foundation, Instant Classroom It contains a laptop, 25 tablets, a projector, a speaker, and a modem that provides 3G connectivity. All this with a full-day component lifespan and in an easily transportable, 52-kg box.
The Instant Classroom The platform, delivered to the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God, also comes pre-installed with the Mefacilyta platform, developed by the Vodafone Spain Foundation. This platform offers a set of customizable and easily accessible support tools to enhance the capabilities and stimulate communication of people with intellectual disabilities. The Hospitaller Order will use Instant Classroom at the San Juan de Dios Center dedicated to the education of people with disabilities in Vellore, India, a country where this institution has eight centers serving the elderly, children, people with disabilities, people at risk of social exclusion, and people requiring palliative care.

The unit donated to the TECSOS Foundation will be used through the Red Cross Youth to benefit children in communities across Spain experiencing emergencies or natural disasters, such as forest fires, earthquakes, or floods. Instant Classroom It provides adequate support to the displaced population by providing a wide variety of books in electronic format and facilitating the execution of games and activities that require audiovisual elements. In this way, it aims to open spaces for inclusive interaction, adapting entertainment to all intervention groups with online video games or virtual reality experiments.
