The campaign “Give us a hard time” organized by the San Juan de Dios Hospital has resulted in the collection of 942 kilos of food donated by different entities and companies, individuals, workers and volunteers of the hospital itself.
The organization John City NGO will now be responsible for shipping them to the San Juan de Dios hospitals and social-health centers in Africa and Latin America. These foods will be shipped via Humanitarian Aid containers departing from the NGO's warehouse located at the San José Institute Foundation in Madrid and traveling by sea to the destination port. This year's campaign also received donations to help cover these transportation costs.
