On March 22, the JesĂșs Abandonado Foundation organized a series of awareness-raising and international cooperation events at the Majal Blanco Educational Center in Santomera, Murcia.
These awareness-raising and development education sessions, supported by Juan Ciudad NGO, were held within the framework of the "Friendly School" program and were subsidized by the Murcia City Council.

Parents, students, teachers, and friends of this educational center joined together on April 27th under the slogan "Petal by petal, a dream blooms," giving flowers and literary quotes. As a result, the 4th-year ESO students donated the funds raised during the Sant Jordi activity to a development cooperation project in Benin, Africa.

The project is promoted by the Roman Curia of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God with the aim of building a polyclinic and rehabilitation center in Akassato, Benin.
As one of the event organizers stated, "Awareness-raising projects like the one we carry out at 'Escuela Amiga' in JesĂșs Abandonado allow us to broaden our perspective, and our solidarity knows no boundaries."
