Our delegate in Andalusia, Ignacio Romero, informs us that the Ciudad San Juan de Dios center in AlcalĂĄ de Guadaira (Seville) has developed several activities to raise funds for a project aimed at the San Juan de Dios Health Center in Boko (Cameroon), and the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Aljarafe will hold a charity gala in March for the "Destio Kenia" project.
Some of the activities held in AlcalĂĄ de Guadaira included the Christmas Candle, a Charity Raffle, and the Christmas Sermon, thanks to the involvement of the center's staff, along with the participation of Brothers, users, families, volunteers, and professionals. The funds raised will allow for the purchase of a washing machine for the laundry.
In addition, the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Aljarafe (Seville) is organizing a charity gala on March 6th to raise funds for "Destino Kenia," the twinning project between the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Aljarafe and the Saint John of God Catholic Hospital in Tigania. This mutually enriching collaboration will allow for the exchange of experiences and the establishment of long-term bonds between professionals and volunteers, in addition to supporting cooperation and development projects.
