This year, we ask you to support us in promoting inclusive education in Zambia, where the Brothers of St. John of God operate a Special Education School in Monze.
Dear Brothers, volunteers, collaborators and friends,
I am pleased to address all of you who are always there to share with us the joys and challenges we face, especially in the field of Development Cooperation at the Brothers of St. John of God Centers.
This year, I want to introduce you to a project in Zambia. A country in southern Africa where the Brothers of St. John of God are also present, and we have a Rehabilitation Center and a school for people with intellectual and physical disabilities.
For some time now the Zambian government has been engaged in developing a policy inclusive education, and the Brothers' Center needs to catch up to meet this challenge.
The project we are presenting will give us the opportunity to collaborate and eliminate barriers, both physical and architectural, as well as mental, in favor of equality and equity. In short, pure HOSPITALITY, which is our thing.
I'll say goodbye with our message for Christmas 2018: "May Christmas help us break down borders and foster unity."
Receive a very cordial greeting,
Brother JosĂ© MarĂa Viadero
Director of Juan Ciudad NGO
