Continuing its accountability work, Juan Ciudad NGO has renewed its Transparency and Good Governance seal after participating in the mandatory review process of the "Transparency and Good Governance Tool" of the Coordinator of NGOs of Spain in late 2019, with an external audit.
According to the Certificate awarded by the Coordinator, our organization has passed all the blocks that make up the Transparency and Good Governance Indicators Tool, so in addition to being accredited, Juan Ciudad ONGD is exempt from carrying out this evaluation again until 2022.
This Tool, which is periodically improved and is the result of the working group created by the Coordinator in 2016, is a responsible exercise in self-regulation and also represents a public accountability action.
Juan Ciudad NGO was one of the organizations that participated from the very beginning, conducting the voluntary self-assessment period for partner entities. Iratxe DĂaz, operations manager at Juan Ciudad NGO, has been responsible for coordinating and managing all the necessary procedures for our organization ever since.
