Juan Ciudad NGO and the Women for Africa Foundation sign an agreement to promote health and development in Africa.

The Framework Agreement for Collaboration was signed today in Madrid by MarĂa Teresa FernĂĄndez de la Vega, president of the Women for Africa Foundation, and Brother JosĂ© MÂȘ Viadero, director of Juan Ciudad NGO, with the aim of promoting and fostering health and comprehensive human development among vulnerable populations, with a special focus on women.

These two organizations have decided to formalize the collaboration they have been developing for more than three years, through international cooperation projects to improve women's health in Liberia at St. Joseph's Hospital in Monrovia, with a special focus on maternal and child health and obstetric fistula.

As MÂȘ Teresa FernĂĄndez explained: "The signing of this agreement is a huge step forward, demonstrating the strong understanding and collaborative work between the Women for Africa Foundation and Juan Ciudad NGO. It will serve to further improve and expand our capacity for action, ultimately resulting in more women being served in Africa."

For his part, JosĂ© MÂȘ Viadero stated, "We could say that this agreement sheds light on the collaboration between these two organizations, which we have been working on for years since we met in Monrovia. This is very important, as this agreement will strengthen us, and thanks to the perseverance and willingness to overcome the difficulties we have encountered along the way, we remain willing to continue learning and improving."

The agreement includes actions that allow for effective interventions in the health sector through cooperation, development projects, training, and awareness programs, among others.
