We are very pleased to inform you that thanks to your solidarity and that of many San Juan de Dios centers in Spain, as well as other organizations and companies that collaborate with Juan Ciudad ONGD (JCONGD), last year we sent nearly 300 tons of humanitarian aid to hospitals and centers in Africa and Latin America.
A total of 22 containers were shipped from the JCONGD warehouse in Madrid, six of them double-capacity. These shipments were filled with solidarity, thanks to in-kind donations from individuals, companies, our branches, and centers of the Hospitaller Order in Spain; and also thanks to the financial contributions that allowed us to purchase products and pay for shipping to the ports of destination.

The hospitals and social and health centers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God in Togo, Peru, Ghana, Liberia, Cuba, Sierra Leone, Senegal, and Cameroon have been able to receive these shipments, which, thanks to everyone's efforts, have made thousands of kilos of aid a reality.
Each shipment includes various hospital supplies, equipment, hygiene and cleaning products, medicines, or food, depending on the type of facility and the needs previously expressed. We don't send the same items to all facilities, as they are located in different contexts and have very specific areas of intervention, such as hospitals, social services, mental health, disabilities, or seniors.

At JCONGD, we would like to thank everyone who contributes to these shipments, as they are of great importance to the centers, allowing them to maintain and improve the services provided to thousands of vulnerable people each year.
