Juan Ciudad NGO held two awareness-raising talks yesterday at the Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Deu for employees, supported by a photo exhibition. This was part of an international development cooperation project funded by the Sant Boi de Llobregat City Council. This project aims to improve care at the Padre Olallo Home, which serves patients undergoing physical rehabilitation and the elderly.
Both talks were given by Belén Jiménez, head of Volunteering at JCONGD, and also included the participation of Brother Eduardo Ribes, who shared his experience volunteering at the centers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God in Cuba.
This awareness-raising event, as well as the photography exhibition, was organized by Francesc Garreta, JCONG's representative at Parc Sanitari.
