Four new containers with 45 tons of humanitarian aid leave for Peru, Ghana, and Senegal.

Four new containers weighing approximately 45 tons in total were shipped from the Juan Ciudad ONGD humanitarian aid warehouse in February and March. They were destined for the health centers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God in Piura (which was severely affected by recent flooding), Iquitos (Peru), Asafo (Ghana), and Thies and Faick (Senegal).

These shipments include hospital supplies such as sheets, towels, uniforms, etc., as well as equipment including beds, mattresses, and wheelchairs; as well as hygiene and cleaning products and food. These items will be of great help in Piura, where the SJD Piura Clinic and the SJD Rest Center are located, which have suffered the devastating effects of the recent El Niño floods, leaving nearly half a million people homeless.

Our organization sends these humanitarian aid shipments because the centers we work with have limited resources, and some of these products and materials are unavailable in the countries where they are located.

On this occasion, in addition to the two centers in Piura, the San Juan de Dios Clinic in Iquitos, located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, the San Juan de Dios Hospital in Asafo, in the interior of Ghana, and the two "Dalal Xel" mental health centers in Thies and Fatick, in the interior of Senegal, will receive this aid.

We would like to thank our donors and collaborators for their support in making these shipments, as well as PERSAN Detergents (Seville), Brother Francisco Vallejos and the Juan Ciudad Delegation in Catalonia, Prim Medical Supplies SA (Madrid), the SJD Ciempozuelos Center, Brother Goñi (Murcia) from the JesĂșs Abandonado Shelter Fund, Hospital de la Fe (Valencia), H&M Spain, the Juan Ciudad Delegation in Castile and LeĂłn (Valladolid), the Carrefour Foundation (Madrid), San Gabino Opticians (Madrid), the SJD AlcalĂĄ de Guadaira Center, and the San JosĂ© Institute Fund (Madrid).
