In Peru, the El Niño phenomenon has left more than half a million people affected, primarily in the north of the country. Three centers of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God have been affected, and the Teletón San Juan de Dios Foundation has been collecting humanitarian aid for those affected for several days, in addition to coordinating numerous volunteers who have come forward to provide assistance through the #UnaSolaFuerza campaign.
The affected centers are two San Juan de Dios Clinics in Chiclayo and Piura, as well as the San Juan de Dios Rest Center located in the latter city.
Yesterday the TeletĂłn Foundation reported that volunteers loaded and delivered the second truck with humanitarian aid with 4.5 tons of donations at the official collection point in the #Videna
